Register in 2 Easy Steps

Getting started is quite easy! To access Opticann medical cannabis products, please follow these simple steps. If you have any questions, our team is here to help along the way.

Register Online

Create Your Account

Submit your registration application in under 10 minutes to open an account with Opticann. The email address you provide will be used to confirm your account. Caregivers can register on behalf of other individuals.

If you prefer to fill out your application on paper, download the registration application and follow the instructions to submit.

Medical Document

Provide Your Medical Document

Similar to a prescription, a Medical Document is required by Health Canada to purchase medical cannabis. Download and share this form with your healthcare practitioner or licensed cannabis clinic to fill out and submit to us.

Don’t have a healthcare practitioner who can prescribe medical cannabis? Book a telehealth consultation with our clinic partner.


Confirmation to Order Products

After your Registration Application and Medical Document are received and verified, you will receive a welcome call and email confirmation with your unique Patient ID #. You can then login to our online Patient Portal and begin ordering! This whole process takes between 1-3 business days.

Need to Talk to a Healthcare Provider?

Opticann has partnered with ReLeave Therapeutics, a telemedicine clinic to offer patients a quick and convenient way to speak with a physician and cannabis educator. Telehealth services are covered by Canadian provincial health plans.

Book your 15-minute consultation from the comfort of your own home.  A caring, knowledgeable physician will call you for an assessment to see if medical cannabis is right for you, review dosage requirements and prescription duration. Once completed, they will send us your Medical Document.

How to Switch Licensed Producers

If you are currently registered with another Licensed Producer (LP), you can request your valid Medical Document be transferred to another LP at anytime. Register with us, then contact your current LP and request to transfer your prescription to Opticann.
